Education is a lifelong process and it must develop from firm and broad foundations. We at SDPS have evolved an e-learning curriculum by directing our strategies to fulfill the needs and providing an enriching, invigorating and a challenging environment for the optimum development of each student.
Digital devices have become a part and parcel of our lives. We at SDPS have installed the latest technologies to facilitate learning.
A Physics, Chemistry and Biology lab to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
A Geography and Psychology lab to sensitise the children through a host of community development initiatives.
A well equipped Mathematics lab enhances the calculus and the numerological ability of the students. "Vedic Math" is also imparted in our school through a learned facilitator.
An important part of the school's infrastructure to enhance the communication skill and correct pronunciation among students. Each Student is provided with a headphone and a microphone in the Language lab.
We aim at taking our children into 21st century by making them computer literate. There are three Computer laboratories for the students. All the laboratories are equipped with most modern machines. All the computers are connected via a Local Area Network. Internet facility is available for the academic needs of the students. Our soft ware Cds and games are sourced out from different parts of the world to develop skills like memory and logical thinking to improve the reflex senses of a child.
The school runs a Computer Aided Learning Lab for the students. The software has various programs catering to all the subjects. In this conventional teaching using standard textbooks is 'blended' with teaching that uses forms of technology, specifically digital content and an white board. It is an interactive and a student centred approach.
